European Region of Gastronomy project

East Lombardy has been awarded with the title of European Region of Gastronomy for the year 2017. The award has been officially given to the project’s partners during the European Commission’s Food Tourism Week, on the 29th of September, 2015.

The award has been the result of a candidature, promoted by the Region of Lombardy, the cities of Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona and Mantua, their respective Chambers of Commerce and the University of Bergamo as scientific coordinator of the project.
