I started researching “Home swapping – take a vacation” with Francesca Forno, a Professor of Sociology and Sociology of Consumption at the University of Bergamo, in 2009. Situated within the field of alternative tourism, the project details the socio-economic profiles, motivations and life-style choices of those who engage in home swapping for their holidays.
